Jonathan  began acting at the age of 14 at the "Creative And Performing Arts" magnet program located in Livonia, Michigan.  CAPA is a "by audition only", four year Creative and Performing Arts high school program.   Jonathan was cast in several CAPA productions including; "Brigadoon" New Yorker, "You Can't Take     It With You " Ed, "Stage Door"  Adoph Gretzel , "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream" Snug, "Les Miserables" Bishop & Montparnasse, "Dancing at Lughnasa" Michael ,"LI'l Abner"  Abner, "A Piece of My Heart" Male Ensemble, "Into The Woods" The Baker, "A Street Car Named Desire" Stanley, "The Crucible" Reverend John Hale, and "Macbeth" Macduff.   Jonathan won a prestige's scholarship to the Cranbrook Summer Theatre  in his junior year where he played Romeo "Romeo & Juliet".  Cast in Jake Heggie's Opera "Dead Man Walking" at the Michigan Opera Theatre, 2003.  At the age of 16, Jonathan came to New York and attended the summer acting workshop at "The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute".  Positive things began to develop from that experience.   Back in Michigan, Jonathan performed in "Play by Play", "All The World's A Stage" by Casey Jacobs at "Heartland Theatre Company" at Oakland University in June 2003 and Heartlande Theatre's "Play by Play" 2004 in "WMD" by Al Sjoerdsma in Ann Arbor.  Jonathan directed a student version of Sam Shepard's "BURIED CHILD" that went up in June 2005.  Upon graduation from high school in 2005,  returned to New York to become the youngest member of   "The Actors Center's"  nine month conservatory program.   Jonathan auditioned in 2005 for a role in the Off-Broadway musical production of "Spring Awakening"  at the "Atlantic Theatre Company".  Jonathan was subsequently cast in the role of  Hanschen.    "Spring Awakening" a new musical, has since moved to the "Eugene O'Neill Theatre" BROADWAY  where Jonathan returns to the role he created Off-Broadway.   Interests include acting, music, skateboarding, French Women & French food.
